Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Juvenal Mesquita started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Juvenal Mesquita hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After 8 played minutes Olinda got a freekick which was hit by Nestor Leme. Dagoberto de Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Olinda's zone, Marco Veiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edson Pinheiro came out of the goal and Marco Veiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Victor Dionísio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edson Pinheiro having to make a save. Edson Pinheiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Dionísio, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After 20 played minutes Olinda got a freekick which was hit by Juvenal Mesquita. Salobense FC's Victor Dionísio got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Nestor Leme fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Olinda's protests and gave Nestor Leme a yellow card for diving instead. After 23 played minutes Olinda got a freekick which was hit by Nestor Leme. If Victor Dionísio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nestor Leme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robinho Proença having to interfere. Victor Dionísio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Salobense FC's Victor Dionísio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edson Pinheiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Daniel Nogueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edson Pinheiro having to interfere. In the 40thth minute of the game Victor Dionísio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Olinda's Edson Pinheiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edson Pinheiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Dionísio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vânderson Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 47 played minutes Olinda got a freekick which was hit by Juvenal Mesquita. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Victor Dionísio was the one to do the kick off. Victor Dionísio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Edson Pinheiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victor Dionísio in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Edson Pinheiro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Edson Pinheiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Dionísio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Victor Dionísio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 61 minutes, Edgar Teixeira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salobense FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgar Teixeira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 63 minutes into the match, Olinda's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Dionísio came free, but Edson Pinheiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edson Pinheiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Dionísio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th match minute, Olinda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juvenal Mesquita to maneuver through the defense. 69 minutes into the match, Olinda's goalkeeper Edson Pinheiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victor Dionísio. Edson Pinheiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victor Dionísio's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Edson Pinheiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Nogueira in the 73rd minute of play. Edson Pinheiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Dionísio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Nogueira struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Edson Pinheiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salobense FC. Edson Pinheiro made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Victor Dionísio sent off a good shot on target. Nestor Leme made in the 84th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Salobense FC's Celso Barros. Through an outstanding action, after 87 minutes, Edson Pinheiro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Victor Dionísio succeeded in the game's 90th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Salobense FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
