Spectators: 7774 (Terracing: 5831, Seating: 1788, VIP seats: 155) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Yuri Paraibano started the match with the kick off. Lucas Trigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michal Osikowicz in the 5th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nilson Botelho got free with Lucas Trigo in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Nilson Botelho took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Lucas Trigo to make any attempt to save it. With a little luck, Cascavel's Lucas Trigo got control of the ball when Michal Osikowicz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luiz Fernando Linares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yuri Paraibano in the 19th minute of the match. When Mazinho de Sena fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cascavel's protests and gave Mazinho de Sena a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ostrália booed when Cascavel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mazinho de Sena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ostrália's Luiz Fernando Linares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yuri Paraibano in the 24th minute of play. Lucas Trigo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nilson Botelho in the 27th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Cascavel's zone, Nilson Botelho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucas Trigo came out of the goal and Nilson Botelho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ostrália's attentive Diogo Macedo managed to snatch the ball when Mazinho de Sena made a throw-in in the 35th minute of the game. Lucas Trigo was a little too slow when Nilson Botelho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 2-0. Nilson Botelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Trigo having to interfere. 41 minutes into the game, Nilson Botelho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Lucas Trigo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Chicão Alvarenga hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute Yuri Paraibano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fernando Linares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cascavel were awarded a corner in the 48th minute after Ostrália's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ismael Paraibano took the corner. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chicão Alvarenga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Cascavel's goal looked a bit too open when Chicão Alvarenga came free, but Lucas Trigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chicão Alvarenga took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lucas Trigo. Lucas Trigo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 68th minute, Nilson Botelho made a precise shot to the right of Lucas Trigo. Cascavel's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Ostrália's Erasmo Paraíba was substituted for Nilson Botelho. In the 73rd minute, Michal Osikowicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ostrália's Cícero Barbosa was substituted for Robin Bergvall. In the 73rd match minute, Ostrália was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michal Osikowicz to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute, Fabinho Reis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Enio Marquez was extremely unlucky when he, in the 76th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Ostrália made a substitution. Pedro Paulo Penha replaced Adhemar Arósio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erasmo Paraíba in the 83rd minute of play forced Cascavel's goalkeeper Lucas Trigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute, Josué Freitas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ostrália had won after a very even match.
