After having played for 2 minutes, Thiago Vaz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kabelo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thiago Vaz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cafu Martins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeferson Fontes having to interfere. Jeferson Fontes made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Cristóvão Dracena sent off a good shot on target. Kabelo FC's Carlos Fernando Alvarenga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Mineiro in the 13th minute of play. Cláudio Botelho struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Carlos Fernando Alvarenga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Everest Futebol Clube. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristóvão Dracena kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jeferson Fontes. That made the score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. Carlos Fernando Alvarenga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oséias Falcão in the 23rd minute of play. Jeferson Fontes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristóvão Dracena in the 25th minute. The throw-in from Thiago Vaz in the 31st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Everest Futebol Clube's Cláudio Botelho. In the 35th minute, Anselmo Scarano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 38 minutes into the game, Cafu Martins recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jeferson Fontes. Cafu Martins showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Paulão Lara kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. When Cafu Martins came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Kabelo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cafu Martins couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Everest Futebol Clube's Jeferson Fontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdir Mattos in the 58th minute of play. The supporters of Kabelo FC booed when Everest Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulão Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kabelo FC made a substitution. Benjamim Palmeira replaced Gil Tinoco. Paulão Lara hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Renatinho Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeferson Fontes having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, Kabelo FC's goalkeeper Carlos Fernando Alvarenga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oséias Falcão. 85 minutes into the game, Kabelo FC's Anselmo Scarano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jeferson Fontes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Kabelo FC made a substitution. Marconi Coutinho replaced Anselmo Scarano. Kabelo FC's Alim Erçivan was substituted for Valdir Mattos. Jeferson Fontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cafu Martins in the 95th minute of play. Kabelo FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
