In the 5thth minute of the game Eder Milito who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Almirantes F.C.'s João Adolfo Torres was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. João Adolfo Torres didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 6th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. In the 10th minute, Cesinha Leal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Almirantes F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 21st match minute, Hogwarts was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arad Asgharzadeh to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute, Hogwarts's Eder Milito dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. João Adolfo Torres made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Alessandro Camargo sent off a good shot on target. After 29 minutes, Cesinha Leal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Almirantes F.C. and the Hogwarts players grew even worse after the yellow card. 33 minutes into the match, Valdomiro Paes notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Hogwarts's Arthur Passos. Arthur Passos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 36th minute Valdomiro Paes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arthur Passos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the game, Yuri Dias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Almirantes F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hogwarts the free kick. After 38 played minutes Almirantes F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Yuri Dias. Eder Milito who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of João Adolfo Torres when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesinha Leal in the 40th minute of play forced Hogwarts's goalkeeper Arthur Passos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eder Milito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Adolfo Torres having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cesinha Leal was the one to do the kick off. Hogwarts's Eder Milito managed to work through Almirantes F.C.'s defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Eder Milito dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Valdomiro Paes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Hogwarts booed when Almirantes F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilson Paraibano didn't get a good kick on the ball. João Adolfo Torres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eder Milito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 72 in the game by Cesinha Leal from a close distance when the talented Arthur Passos managed to make a qualified save. Hogwarts's players were relieved. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eder Milito in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg João Adolfo Torres saved Almirantes F.C. from getting behind. If Eder Milito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Arad Asgharzadeh fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hogwarts's protests and gave Arad Asgharzadeh a yellow card for diving instead. Arad Asgharzadeh hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. The Hogwarts fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when Hogwarts's Eder Milito looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Wilson Paraibano kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Remigio in the 88th minute of play forced Almirantes F.C.'s goalkeeper João Adolfo Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eder Milito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Hogwarts had played much better football throughout.
