Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedro Augusto Alves in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ryszard Kopacz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 8 minutes of play, Figueirense - FSCMZ's Rui Sabóia made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. After 21 minutes Fogo Quente's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mao Xu Ang who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Figueirense - FSCMZ's corner Mao Xu Ang fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pedro Nóbrega quite easily take care of the ball. Egoi Caminero hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Fogo Quente's Ryszard Kopacz threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pedro Dionísio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 29 played minutes Fogo Quente got a freekick which was hit by João Pedro Maia. In the 32nd minute, Pedro Augusto Alves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Allan Delon in the 35thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ryszard Kopacz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 36 minutes into the game, Mao Xu Ang was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Figueirense - FSCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fogo Quente the free kick. After a rather tough play, Figueirense - FSCMZ's Mao Xu Ang got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 40th minute Rui Sabóia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Nóbrega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ryszard Kopacz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Augusto Alves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes into the game, Rui Sabóia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Figueirense - FSCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fogo Quente the free kick. A collision led to Figueirense - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Rui Sabóia hit a great ball. Figueirense - FSCMZ's Ryszard Kopacz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Figueirense - FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. If Pedro Augusto Alves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 48 minutes into the match, Fogo Quente's goal looked a bit too open when Caco Souza came free, but Pedro Nóbrega reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Allan Delon to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Pedro Dionísio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ryszard Kopacz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fogo Quente were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Figueirense - FSCMZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Norberto Guimarães took the corner. The corner ended in Norberto Guimarães almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Figueirense - FSCMZ's Ryszard Kopacz did a great save. Ryszard Kopacz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedro Dionísio's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Pedro Nóbrega showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mao Xu Ang, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. When Pedro Augusto Alves came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Fogo Quente fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Augusto Alves couldn't finish the play. Pedro Nóbrega took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mao Xu Ang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Allan Delon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ryszard Kopacz having to interfere. Figueirense - FSCMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mao Xu Ang in the 83rd minute. Pedro Dionísio hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute, Allan Delon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fogo Quente fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Caco Souza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Fogo Quente had won after a very even match.
