When Eugênio Cearense fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GALAXY RANGERS's protests and gave Eugênio Cearense a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to GALAXY RANGERS getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Eugênio Cearense hit a great ball. After having played for 15 minutes, Wellington Jacinto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RENOVO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wellington Jacinto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Arkadiusz Basinski came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the RENOVO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arkadiusz Basinski couldn't finish the play. Luisão Pires might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ronaldinho da Cunha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luisão Pires ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Arkadiusz Basinski put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ronaldinho da Cunha. After a rather tough play, GALAXY RANGERS's Pedro Luiz Saldanha got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Luisão Pires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Ronaldinho da Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luisão Pires struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Ronaldinho da Cunha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RENOVO. In the 45th minute, RENOVO's Arkadiusz Basinski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pedro Luiz Saldanha to strike the kick off in the second half. RENOVO's Arkadiusz Basinski got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 56 minutes into the game, Arkadiusz Basinski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Ronaldinho da Cunha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wellington Jacinto took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ronaldinho da Cunha. Ronaldinho da Cunha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. After 64 minutes of play, RENOVO's Arkadiusz Basinski made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ronaldinho da Cunha was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Arkadiusz Basinski in the 67th minute of play forced GALAXY RANGERS's goalkeeper Ronaldinho da Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ronaldinho da Cunha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arkadiusz Basinski's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. A collision led to GALAXY RANGERS getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Nilmar Custódio hit a great ball. In the 70th minute, Arkadiusz Basinski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RENOVO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. When Luisão Pires came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the RENOVO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luisão Pires couldn't finish the play. If Arkadiusz Basinski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 9-0 when Arkadiusz Basinski sped through GALAXY RANGERS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ronaldinho da Cunha. 81 minutes into the game, Arkadiusz Basinski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-0. Ronaldinho da Cunha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 84th minute, Arkadiusz Basinski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ronaldinho da Cunha was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-0. Arkadiusz Basinski hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Arkadiusz Basinski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronaldinho da Cunha having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in GALAXY RANGERS's zone, Arnaldo Carioca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronaldinho da Cunha came out of the goal and Arnaldo Carioca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wellington Jacinto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. RENOVO had played much better football throughout.
