The audience thought a goal was coming when Reinaldo Hermes got free with Hernani Zonta in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Clube Atlético Impávido's Naldo Cordeiro quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Iwan Poling, made in the 27th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Boschker in the 80th minute of play forced Inter de Plataforma FC.'s goalkeeper Hernani Zonta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stig-Arne Ekström in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. Elivélton Loyola hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Clube Atlético Impávido had won after a very even match.
