With a couple of smart ball manuevers Válbson Quirino in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zeca Oliveira saved Dementadores from getting behind. 14 minutes into the match, Utopia e Luta's goal looked a bit too open when Dariusz Jaruzelski came free, but Jorge Matthew reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute Dariusz Jaruzelski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Matthew saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorge Matthew made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dariusz Jaruzelski in the 16th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Dementadores's goal looked a bit too open when Aílton Pinho came free, but Zeca Oliveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Petruț Ostoici hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Zeca Oliveira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Válbson Quirino's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Jorge Matthew showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dariusz Jaruzelski in the 26th minute of the match. The Dementadores fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Dementadores's Marlin Rosas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jorge Matthew was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Dariusz Jaruzelski capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dariusz Jaruzelski really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Aílton Pinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dariusz Jaruzelski in the 44thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jorge Matthew, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jorge Matthew took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dariusz Jaruzelski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Válbson Quirino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Utopia e Luta's zone, Marlin Rosas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Matthew came out of the goal and Marlin Rosas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Utopia e Luta players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Dementadores.
