Shooting Stars 4EVER's Luís Fernando Sanches played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marlin Rosas in the 14th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Petruț Ostoici got free with Luís Fernando Sanches in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 15th match minute, Shooting Stars 4EVER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vitinho Maranhense to maneuver through the defense. Marlin Rosas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Luís Fernando Sanches made a huge save. Tostão Branco took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zeca Oliveira. Zeca Oliveira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Dinei Salgado's late challenge caught a Dementadores's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dinei Salgado helped the player get up and apologised. After 23 played minutes Shooting Stars 4EVER got a freekick which was hit by Dinei Salgado. In the 24th minute of the match, Petruț Ostoici got a very nice opportunity to score, but Luís Fernando Sanches was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Dariusz Jaruzelski scored 3-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luís Fernando Sanches, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luís Fernando Sanches stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dariusz Jaruzelski's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. In the 36th minute, Marlin Rosas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luís Fernando Sanches was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Luís Fernando Sanches didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dariusz Jaruzelski went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. In the 43rd minute, Petruț Ostoici ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luís Fernando Sanches was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Dariusz Jaruzelski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luís Fernando Sanches. That made the score 8-1 in the 47 minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 8-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vitinho Maranhense was the one to do the kick off. Luís Fernando Sanches showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marlin Rosas in the 71st minute of the match. Luís Fernando Sanches showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petruț Ostoici, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Dementadores's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marlin Rosas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
