The crowd rose to their feet as Clube Atlético Impávido's Edward Kisielka slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kiko Diniz. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. Antônio Carlos Veloso struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Kiko Diniz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clube Atlético Impávido. João Adolfo Rosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomás Kroos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Fenix getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Leonel Berger hit a great ball. A throw-in in the 10th minute of the game was made by Acácio Guimarães with František Borbély as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Kiko Diniz made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Stig-Arne Ekström sent off a good shot on target. Kiko Diniz was a little too slow when Edward Kisielka got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 2-0. An unexpected shot in the 16th minute by Stig-Arne Ekström got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. João Adolfo Rosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dalmo Jacinto, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Kiko Diniz came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Clube Atlético Impávido's Richard Boschker. But to his dismay, Richard Boschker quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 25th minute of the match Clube Atlético Impávido got a corner. Fenix's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edward Kisielka ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Clube Atlético Impávido's Edward Kisielka to fire away a dangerous shot which Kiko Diniz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Edward Kisielka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kiko Diniz having to interfere. Clube Atlético Impávido's João Adolfo Rosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duda Saraiva in the 33rd minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Stig-Arne Ekström dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kiko Diniz, 4-0. In the 42nd minute, Clube Atlético Impávido's Antônio Carlos Veloso dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Stig-Arne Ekström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clube Atlético Impávido's supporters rose to their feet, but Stig-Arne Ekström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kiko Diniz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stig-Arne Ekström to make the kick off. Kiko Diniz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig-Arne Ekström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Dalmo Jacinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Richard Boschker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 57th match minute, Fenix was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Berger to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute, Acácio Guimarães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute Edward Kisielka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kiko Diniz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edward Kisielka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Richard Boschker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kiko Diniz having to interfere. 74 minutes into the game, Leonel Berger was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fenix's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clube Atlético Impávido the free kick. After 74 played minutes Fenix got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Berger. Edward Kisielka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes into the match, Richard Boschker had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kiko Diniz. Fenix's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Richard Boschker was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Thomás Kroos kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Fenix's zone, Antônio Carlos Veloso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kiko Diniz came out of the goal and Antônio Carlos Veloso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There was no doubt that Clube Atlético Impávido were the better team. Clube Atlético Impávido's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
