Misericordia EC's Léo Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig-Arne Ekström in the 77th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Misericordia EC's zone, Edward Kisielka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Léo Leão came out of the goal and Edward Kisielka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 89th match minute, Clube Atlético Impávido was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richard Boschker to maneuver through the defense. If Edward Kisielka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Misericordia EC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
