The Inter de Plataforma FC. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hernani Zonta should have stopped the shot. 15 minutes into the game, Gláuber Ribeiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Inter de Plataforma FC.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dementadores the free kick. Hernani Zonta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petruț Ostoici, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 42 minutes into the match, Inter de Plataforma FC.'s goal looked a bit too open when Petruț Ostoici came free, but Hernani Zonta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Inter de Plataforma FC. getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Elivélton Loyola hit a great ball. Dariusz Jaruzelski took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hernani Zonta. With his leg Zeca Oliveira managed to avoid a goal in the 93rdth minute, when Inter de Plataforma FC.'s Remi Rassen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Hernani Zonta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dariusz Jaruzelski in the 95th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Dementadores fans cheered their team off the field, for while Inter de Plataforma FC. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
