In the 9th play minute Juan Soeiro came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised José Vítor Bastos. 2-0. In the 13th minute, Giovanni Trevisan made a precise shot to the right of Amos Nero. Atlético-MG's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Sydney Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Vítor Bastos having to interfere. If Luiz Coelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the match, LKbrazilian's goalkeeper José Vítor Bastos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juan Soeiro. Luiz Coelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adelino Perez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. José Vítor Bastos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 33 in the game by Sydney Antunes from a close distance when the talented José Vítor Bastos managed to make a qualified save. LKbrazilian's players were relieved. After 35th play minutes Sydney Antunes shot 4-1, a short shot which went by José Vítor Bastos and just under the crossbar into goal. When Sydney Antunes came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Atlético-MG fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sydney Antunes couldn't finish the play. After having played for 42 minutes, Adelino Perez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético-MG's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adelino Perez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 44th minute, Adelino Perez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Breno de Queirós made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes LKbrazilian got a freekick which was hit by Oswaldo Vergílio. A hard and well directed shot from Sydney Antunes led 52 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. LKbrazilian's José Vítor Bastos became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 5-1. José Vítor Bastos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sydney Antunes's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. 58 minutes into the match, LKbrazilian's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Soeiro came free, but José Vítor Bastos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edvaldo Secco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 62nd minute, Juan Soeiro made a precise shot to the right of José Vítor Bastos. LKbrazilian's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. In the 65th minute Sydney Antunes suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Thiago Neiva fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LKbrazilian's protests and gave Thiago Neiva a yellow card for diving instead. Atlético-MG's Doaej Boften was substituted for Sydney Antunes. After 66 played minutes LKbrazilian got a freekick which was hit by Thiago Neiva. 67 minutes into the match, Atlético-MG's Luiz Coelho broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Doaej Boften fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Vítor Bastos having to interfere. Glauco Ramos's late challenge caught a Atlético-MG's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Glauco Ramos helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of LKbrazilian booed when Atlético-MG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adelino Perez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amos Nero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Breno de Queirós, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Doaej Boften received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. José Vítor Bastos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Doaej Boften in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Vítor Bastos saved LKbrazilian from getting behind. José Vítor Bastos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adelino Perez in the 88th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adelino Perez in the 90th minute of play forced LKbrazilian's goalkeeper José Vítor Bastos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giovanni Trevisan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Amos Nero made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in LKbrazilian's zone, Doaej Boften stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Vítor Bastos came out of the goal and Doaej Boften tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the LKbrazilian defense, Adelino Perez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Vítor Bastos. The LKbrazilian fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Vítor Bastos should have stopped the shot. After 98 minutes of play, Atlético-MG's Doaej Boften made it 9-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. José Vítor Bastos was left in no man's land by his defense there!
