Tiago Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafinha Veloso in the 6th minute of play. 8 minutes into the game, Perry Ingenhoven cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Tiago Godoi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ciro Terra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kléber Cavalcante in the 11th minute of play. São Paulo F.C.'s Tiago Godoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafinha Veloso in the 12th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Nilmar Foxgaard took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Tiago Godoi to make any attempt to save it. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by São Paulo F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hipolito Rozarius was slow to take the kick. During this time Frexeirinha's players had a chance to rest. In the 21st minute Kléber Cavalcante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Terra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciro Terra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kléber Cavalcante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tiago Godoi was out of position in the 28 minute of play, and Nilmar Foxgaard capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nilmar Foxgaard really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. In the 30th minute, Perry Ingenhoven hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Felix Vătăşel took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Tiago Godoi to make any attempt to save it. Tiago Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Perry Ingenhoven in the 39th minute of the match. After 43 minutes of play, São Paulo F.C.'s Kléber Cavalcante made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ciro Terra was left in no man's land by his defense there! Teodoro Costa got a throw-in 47 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Rafinha Veloso. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

A throw-in in the 63rd minute of the game was made by Teodoro Costa with Rafinha Veloso as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 69th match minute, Frexeirinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nilmar Foxgaard to maneuver through the defense. Teodoro Costa's late challenge caught a São Paulo F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teodoro Costa helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Frexeirinha getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. When the referee ended the match the Frexeirinha players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
