When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Irinel Codrea put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Giuseppe Mota. An unexpectedly hard shot by Róbson Mandrak in the 41st minute of play forced Thunder Palmeiras's goalkeeper Adriano Britto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 42 minutes of play, Radicals Girls's Caio Fernandez made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adriano Britto was left in no man's land by his defense there! They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Irinel Codrea to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Irinel Codrea in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Giuseppe Mota saved Radicals Girls from getting behind. Giuseppe Mota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teo Afonso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Thunder Palmeiras getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Germano de Queirós hit a great ball. In the 66th minute of the match, Róbson Mandrak tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Adriano Britto saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Caio Fernandez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Adriano Britto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Hubert Lägdin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caio Fernandez in the 76th minute of play forced Thunder Palmeiras's goalkeeper Adriano Britto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Thunder Palmeiras's Natã Quirino got a free kick in the 79th minute. Adriano Britto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Róbson Mandrak in the 80th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Radicals Girls's Róbson Mandrak sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adriano Britto narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
