Spectators: 7967 (Terracing: 5977, Seating: 1832, VIP seats: 158) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Song Xiong Hong started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Song Xiong Hong got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Percy Paiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Song Xiong Hong, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 10thth minute of the game Luiz Fábio Souto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Chico Donato was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Chico Donato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Fábio Souto, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Chico Donato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fábio Souto in the 16th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Song Xiong Hong in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Percy Paiva saved Barões F. C. from getting behind. In the 18th minute DIPLOMATA FC PAB were awarded a corner. Song Xiong Hong went to the cornerflag to take it. Renato Quadros was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. With an all-out effort, Barões F. C.'s Chico Donato threw himself towards the right post 21 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Donato Paraibano, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Luiz Fábio Souto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Chico Donato tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Paulo Queirós's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Chico Donato firmly grabbed it by the left post. Percy Paiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Song Xiong Hong in the 34th minute of the match. Pedro Paulo Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Olivier Gilg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Percy Paiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Song Xiong Hong in the 41st minute of the match. In the 42nd minute Donato Paraibano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chico Donato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind DIPLOMATA FC PAB's goalkeeper Chico Donato, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nixon Richard made a kick off. Chico Donato stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Donato Paraibano's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Chico Donato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nixon Richard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Song Xiong Hong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 65 minutes, Nixon Richard made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Chico Donato tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Chico Donato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nixon Richard in the 70th minute of play. Chico Donato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nixon Richard in the 76th minute of the match. With a little luck, Barões F. C.'s Percy Paiva got control of the ball when Song Xiong Hong tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nixon Richard's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Chico Donato read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Barões F. C.'s Luisito Pistolelis was substituted for Luiz Fábio Souto. After a rather tough play, Barões F. C.'s Pedro Paulo Queirós got a free kick in the 95th minute. When the referee ended the match the Barões F. C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
