Cipriano Catarinense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Augusto Vasconcelos in the 4th minute of the match. Carlos Augusto Vasconcelos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Catarinense having to interfere. Cipriano Catarinense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arvid Treiner, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Demolidor de Campeões's zone, Arvid Treiner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cipriano Catarinense came out of the goal and Arvid Treiner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arvid Treiner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Augusto Vasconcelos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Catarinense having to interfere. Carlos Augusto Vasconcelos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cipriano Catarinense read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. The supporters of Fielzão booed when Demolidor de Campeões was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerônimo Gaúcho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cipriano Catarinense stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Augusto Vasconcelos's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Douglas Vides charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Douglas Vides the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Augusto Vasconcelos in the 36th minute of play forced Demolidor de Campeões's goalkeeper Cipriano Catarinense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cipriano Catarinense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Augusto Vasconcelos, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Trayan Dafinov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Fielzão were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlos Augusto Vasconcelos to strike the kick off in the second half. Cipriano Catarinense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Augusto Vasconcelos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Augusto Vasconcelos scored 0-2 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cipriano Catarinense, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Arvid Treiner in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cipriano Catarinense, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 56 minutes into the game, Arvid Treiner recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cipriano Catarinense. Arvid Treiner showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. In the 59th minute, Carlos Augusto Vasconcelos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cipriano Catarinense. The goal made the score 0-4. Demolidor de Campeões's Cipriano Catarinense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Augusto Vasconcelos in the 63rd minute of play. After 72 minutes of play, Fielzão's Carlos Augusto Vasconcelos made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cipriano Catarinense was left in no man's land by his defense there! 80 minutes into the match, Demolidor de Campeões's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Augusto Vasconcelos came free, but Cipriano Catarinense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Demolidor de Campeões getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Jerônimo Gaúcho hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Augusto Vasconcelos in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cipriano Catarinense prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 83 minutes into the match, Demolidor de Campeões's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Augusto Vasconcelos came free, but Cipriano Catarinense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cipriano Catarinense stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Augusto Vasconcelos's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. A collision led to Demolidor de Campeões getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Albertinho Domingues hit a great ball. In the 94th minute, Rogério Negri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Fielzão supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Fielzão would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
