If Celsinho Corrêa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 7 played minutes Olímpico FC got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Dias. Olímpico FC's Geovânio Hoffmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celsinho Corrêa in the 14th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Olímpico FC's goal looked a bit too open when Celsinho Corrêa came free, but Geovânio Hoffmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute Jorge Carrascal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovânio Hoffmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th match minute, Olímpico FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Aiach to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Celsinho Corrêa in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Geovânio Hoffmann saved Olímpico FC from getting behind. Vânderson Saa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abel Carvalho in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute Olímpico FC were awarded a corner. Agnaldo Carneiro went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Agnaldo Carneiro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Vânderson Saa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Carlo Gamarra kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Vânderson Saa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agnaldo Carneiro in the 40th minute. Celsinho Corrêa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Barcellos Mineiro FC booed when Olímpico FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Dias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Geovânio Hoffmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Carrascal in the 44th minute of the match. In the 46th match minute, Olímpico FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Carvalho to maneuver through the defense.

Barcellos Mineiro FC made a substitution. Tang Yang Le replaced Arí Paraibano. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell David Aiach to make the kick off. 59 minutes into the match, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Celsinho Corrêa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Geovânio Hoffmann narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 63 minutes into the match, Olímpico FC's goalkeeper Geovânio Hoffmann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Celsinho Corrêa. Celsinho Corrêa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Geovânio Hoffmann came out and tried to block the shot, but Celsinho Corrêa slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 65th minute. Geovânio Hoffmann was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Celsinho Corrêa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 67 minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Barcellos Mineiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when David Aiach came free, but Vânderson Saa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Celsinho Corrêa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Geovânio Hoffmann was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Jorge Carrascal struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Geovânio Hoffmann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barcellos Mineiro FC. Erasmo Catarinense hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. When Radul Kokalov came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Barcellos Mineiro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Radul Kokalov couldn't finish the play. 82 minutes into the match, Olímpico FC's goalkeeper Geovânio Hoffmann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Celsinho Corrêa. In the 85th minute Abel Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vânderson Saa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Celsinho Corrêa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Olímpico FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Barcellos Mineiro FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
