Zeca Moreno started the match with the kick off. Doni Barbosa scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Claudinei Meireles, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 6th minute, Richard Neto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Limoeiro-PE FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Zeca Moreno's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Zé Pedro Mandrak firmly grabbed it by the left post. The supporters of FactorX FC - CIMZ booed when Limoeiro-PE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Fabiano Fontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. FactorX FC - CIMZ's Alexsandro Ferreira shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 12th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Zé Pedro Mandrak but with some difficulty. Claudinei Meireles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doni Barbosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, FactorX FC - CIMZ's Gino Alagoano got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute, Richard Neto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Claudinei Meireles was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doni Barbosa in the 23rd minute of play forced FactorX FC - CIMZ's goalkeeper Claudinei Meireles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the game, Richard Neto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Claudinei Meireles was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 27 minutes into the game, Limoeiro-PE FC's Doni Barbosa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claudinei Meireles made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. When Gilmar Aparecido fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FactorX FC - CIMZ's protests and gave Gilmar Aparecido a yellow card for diving instead. In the 31st minute, Gilmar Aparecido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Claudinei Meireles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Neto in the 32nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Neto in the 33rd minute of play forced FactorX FC - CIMZ's goalkeeper Claudinei Meireles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Limoeiro-PE FC's Richard Neto in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 41st minute Benedito Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Pedro Mandrak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claudinei Meireles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doni Barbosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Richard Neto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinei Meireles having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Doni Barbosa made a kick off. Allan Zonta in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Claudinei Meireles, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Claudinei Meireles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Neto in the 54th minute of play. FactorX FC - CIMZ's Claudinei Meireles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save FactorX FC - CIMZ from getting a goal against them. Richard Neto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Claudinei Meireles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Fabiano Fontes spun around in front of the goal 57 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of FactorX FC - CIMZ's goal. Alexsandro Ferreira charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexsandro Ferreira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 62nd match minute, FactorX FC - CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilmar Aparecido to maneuver through the defense. FactorX FC - CIMZ's Claudinei Meireles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Neto in the 63rd minute of play. Doni Barbosas short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got Claudinei Meireles to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Claudinei Meireles was a little too slow when Richard Neto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 69th minute. The score was now 0-7. Alexsandro Ferreira kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Claudinei Meireles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gino do Valle in the 74th minute of play. Doni Barbosa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Claudinei Meireles came out and tried to block the shot, but Doni Barbosa slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 79th minute. Claudinei Meireles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allan Zonta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zeca Moreno blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zé Pedro Mandrak having to make a save. Limoeiro-PE FC made a substitution. Kléberson Gomes replaced Doni Barbosa. Gino do Valle took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Claudinei Meireles. Claudinei Meireles dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-10. Limoeiro-PE FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
