DENVER™'s Toninho Pinheiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jardel Velloso in the 45th minute of play. The DENVER™ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bene Animatus were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jardel Velloso to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Bene Animatus's Leandro Fonseca ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Toninho Pinheiro. Toninho Pinheiro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leandro Fonseca got free with Toninho Pinheiro in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by DENVER™'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sílvio Luís Prata was slow to take the kick. During this time Bene Animatus's players had a chance to rest. With a little luck, DENVER™'s Toninho Pinheiro got control of the ball when Leandro Fonseca tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of DENVER™ booed when Bene Animatus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Facundo Putin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Toninho Pinheiro was a little too slow when Jardel Velloso got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 0-8. When the match was over Bene Animatus could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than DENVER™ throughout the match.
