When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guilherme Abud made a kick off. Toninho Pinheiro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jailson Fernandez showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 53 minute of play. In the 56th minute, MEL - ULTIMATE's Yuri Pires ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Toninho Pinheiro. The supporters of DENVER™ booed when MEL - ULTIMATE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Eduardo Mineiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 72 played minutes, DENVER™'s Conrado Paraibano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Henrique Arruda came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in DENVER™ reached it. Jailson Fernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toninho Pinheiro having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Dagoberto Custódio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Toninho Pinheiro. DENVER™'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dagoberto Custódio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9.
