Spectators: 7198 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 143) Ismael Mambru didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Godfredo Araoz went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Carmelo Vimaro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ismael Mambru was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. 10 minutes into the game, Elvio Reynardo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brete FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pintos the free kick. Elvio Reynardo kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Carlos Garoa made in the 11th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Simon Mannuel. Godfredo Araoz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Brete FC defense, Felix Francho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ismael Mambru. The Brete FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ismael Mambru should have stopped the shot. Brete FC's Ismael Mambru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godfredo Araoz in the 30th minute of play. 32 minutes into the game, Godfredo Araoz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pintos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brete FC the free kick. A collision led to Pintos getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Godfredo Araoz hit a great ball. After 34 minutes, Andrés Johnson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pintos and the Brete FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 33rd minute, one of Pintos:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pintos. Carlos Garoa shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After 38 played minutes Pintos got a freekick which was hit by Felix Francho. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 56th minute, Godfredo Araoz made a precise shot to the right of Ismael Mambru. Brete FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 59th match minute, Pintos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Alberto Ikatz to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute Godfredo Araoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Mambru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pintos's Godfredo Araoz got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ismael Mambru made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Carmelo Vimaro sent off a good shot on target. 76 minutes into the match, Brete FC's goalkeeper Ismael Mambru had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carmelo Vimaro. Carlos Garoa made in the 77th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ladislao Cordeiro immediately put the ball in play. After a defensive mix-up in Pintos's zone, Emanuel Raebert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roman Ferrando came out of the goal and Emanuel Raebert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roman Ferrando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulises Ruy in the 80th minute of play. After 80 minutes of play, Brete FC's Ulises Ruy made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roman Ferrando was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Javier Paredes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 87th minute Ulises Ruy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Ferrando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ismael Mambru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godfredo Araoz, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Godfredo Araoz got free with Ismael Mambru in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Pintos walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
