Generoso Panpili was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The throw-in from Gerardo Harriet in the 8th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Rumioj's Nicasio Flor. Generoso Panpili showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Teofilio, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Dario Lawrence managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rumioj's supporters rose to their feet, but Dario Lawrence was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reynaldo Jerano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpected shot in the 14th minute by Dario Lawrence got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Haroldo Osmundo hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Reynaldo Jerano made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Dario Lawrence sent off a good shot on target. Armando Teofilio's late challenge caught a Rumioj's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Armando Teofilio helped the player get up and apologised. After 17 played minutes Los Pibes got a freekick which was hit by Armando Teofilio. Isaac Ascencio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 28 played minutes Rumioj got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Sagrario. Isaac Ascencio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Jerano having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Reynaldo Jerano successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of Rumioj booed when Los Pibes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melchor Bastian didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rumioj's Marcelo Vermudo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 36th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Los Pibes. Isaac Ascencio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Reynaldo Jerano made a huge save. Isaac Ascencio might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Reynaldo Jerano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isaac Ascencio ran back to his position shaking his head. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Epifanio Elazar made in the 55th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Rumioj's 楚坤霆. Isaac Ascencio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Reynaldo Jerano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. If Isaac Ascencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Pibes's goalkeeper Reynaldo Jerano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dario Lawrence blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Reynaldo Jerano having to make a save. When Rumioj's Isaac Ascencio in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Los Pibes's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Isaac Ascencio put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Reynaldo Jerano. The supporters of Rumioj booed when Los Pibes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Teofilio didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Isaac Ascencio sped through Los Pibes's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Reynaldo Jerano. Leo Arias took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Reynaldo Jerano. Los Pibes's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Rumioj's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Teofilio came free, but Generoso Panpili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Isaac Ascencio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rumioj's supporters rose to their feet, but Isaac Ascencio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rumioj's 楚坤霆 got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 92nd minute, Leo Arias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Reynaldo Jerano came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Rumioj's Isaac Ascencio. But to his dismay, Isaac Ascencio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1.
