Angel Colas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Araoz in the 13th minute of play. Valentin Diagur could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Carmelo Unai made a huge save. A hard shot 18 in the game by Karl Söder from a close distance when the talented Carmelo Unai managed to make a qualified save. Banfield City Football's players were relieved. Sergio Quilo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carmelo Unai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Diagur, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Angel Colas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Araoz in the 23rd minute of play. Angel Colas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgilio Sotero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the chop suey FC defense, Siro Hulberto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Angel Colas. The chop suey FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Angel Colas should have stopped the shot. Angel Colas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgilio Sotero in the 32nd minute of the match. Angel Colas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Araoz in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute Ernesto Araoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angel Colas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl Söder could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Carmelo Unai made a huge save. Angel Colas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Araoz in the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th minute Virgilio Sotero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angel Colas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Banfield City Football's Alejo Venceslao got a free kick in the 41st minute. Carmelo Unai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergio Quilo, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Juan Carlos Fernandes kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Siro Hulberto made a kick off. After 57 played minutes chop suey FC got a freekick which was hit by Godofredo Txurio. 64 minutes into the match, Banfield City Football's goal looked a bit too open when Leif Pihl came free, but Carmelo Unai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ernesto Araoz hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Angel Colas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Siro Hulberto in the 69th minute. The supporters of Banfield City Football booed when chop suey FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godofredo Txurio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 77 played minutes chop suey FC got a freekick which was hit by Serafino Paskal. chop suey FC's Angel Colas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Siro Hulberto in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Juan Carlos Fernandes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Banfield City Football's Angel Colas threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Virgilio Sotero, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Abelardo Lizardi kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After 82 played minutes, chop suey FC's Juan Carlos Fernandes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Carmelo Unai came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in chop suey FC reached it. 85 minutes into the game, Siro Hulberto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Angel Colas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 91 minutes, Siro Hulberto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Banfield City Football's supporters crossed their fingers, but Siro Hulberto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Angel Colas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgilio Sotero in the 94th minute of play.
