Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Atletico Villa Gesell's Jesus Txindoki started the match with a crisp pass. Atletico Villa Gesell's Pascual Damario couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 14th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Petronila. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Petronila's goalkeeper Flavio Oxarra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Antonio Txomin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Bonifacio Peruanton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antonio Txomin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bonifacio Peruanton having to interfere. Atilano Ulizes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roque Iruinea charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roque Iruinea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Atletico Villa Gesell's Roque Iruinea got a free kick in the 33rd minute. With a little luck, Atletico Villa Gesell's Bonifacio Peruanton got control of the ball when Antonio Txomin tried to sneak it across the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Atletico Villa Gesell's goalkeeper Bonifacio Peruanton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Humberto Gomez. In the 39th minute, Dalmacio Indar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Flavio Oxarra was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Antonio Txomin came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Petronila fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonio Txomin couldn't finish the play. In the 47th minute, Antonio Txomin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antonio Txomin to make the kick off. Bonifacio Peruanton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Txomin in the 52nd minute of play. Bonifacio Peruanton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Txomin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flavio Oxarra came out of the goal and Jesus Txindoki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
