Emilia's Saverio Dominic proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Emilia from getting a goal against them. Saverio Dominic stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ricardo Dantel's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. In the 17th match minute, Emilia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cecilio Elorri to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute Santiago Matei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Marin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the game, Epifanio Henrico recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Saverio Dominic. Epifanio Henrico showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 24 minutes into the match, Preston dc's goal looked a bit too open when Santiago Matei came free, but Paulo Marin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 26 minutes in the game Pedro Sazon did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Edgardo Gabrio. Preston dc's Paulo Marin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santos Bermudo in the 29th minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Emilia's goal looked a bit too open when Evelio Gutxi came free, but Saverio Dominic reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Evelio Henric kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Preston dc's Nestor Colas couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 36th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Emilia. Saverio Dominic made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Ricardo Dantel sent off a good shot on target. 41 minutes into the match, Emilia's goalkeeper Saverio Dominic had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ricardo Dantel. Ricardo Dantel's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 46thth minute, Saverio Dominic skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ricardo Dantel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Joel Dimo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 57 minutes, Ricardo Dantel made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Emilia's Saverio Dominic tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cecilio Elorri succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 62nd playminute. Santiago Matei hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. With 82 minutes on the clock, Fabricio Gomez commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The supporters of Emilia booed when Preston dc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabricio Gomez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saverio Dominic didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ricardo Dantel went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Nestor Colas charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nestor Colas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Preston dc's Nestor Colas got a free kick in the 88th minute. Paulo Marin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santos Bermudo in the 91st minute of play.
