Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Candelaria's Edgardo Cebrian started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Raul Ellande made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Serafin Xacintu sent off a good shot on target. In the 9th minute, Serafino Orlandus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Porvenir's Angel Constancio got a free kick in the 15th minute. Edgardo Cebrian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Raul Ellande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Zacarias Cortez fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Porvenir's protests and gave Zacarias Cortez a yellow card for diving instead. In the 23rd match minute, Porvenir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zacarias Cortez to maneuver through the defense. Ariel Rioja could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Raul Ellande made a huge save. Lorenzo Bieito came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Porvenir's Mariano Baudelio. But to his dismay, Mariano Baudelio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Mariano Baudelio came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Porvenir fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariano Baudelio couldn't finish the play. Candelaria's Lorenzo Bieito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angel Constancio in the 35th minute of play. The supporters of Candelaria booed when Porvenir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabio Birjaio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute, Leopoldo Rik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute, one of Candelaria:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Candelaria. The Candelaria players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Porvenir were winning 0-2.

After a defensive mix-up in Candelaria's zone, Serafino Orlandus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lorenzo Bieito came out of the goal and Serafino Orlandus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mariano Baudelio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lorenzo Bieito having to make a save. Raul Ellande didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edgardo Cebrian went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Mariano Baudelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lorenzo Bieito having to interfere. In the 78th minute Pascual Nevada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raul Ellande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Serafin Xacintu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute, Angel Constancio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Porvenir's Angel Constancio got a free kick in the 88th minute. Mariano Baudelio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Porvenir's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
