If Jonathan Escobar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Sixto Rafe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chancaní's supporters rose to their feet, but Sixto Rafe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cecilio Koldo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Godfredo Quinteros struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Cecilio Koldo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chancaní. The audience was convinced that Sixto Rafe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cecilio Koldo was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. In the 45th minute, Godfredo Quinteros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cecilio Koldo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sixto Rafe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, A.A.L.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Ebardo to maneuver through the defense. In the 53rd minute Sixto Rafe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cecilio Koldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute of the match Eduardo Nataniel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Guillermo Gaizko showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Felix Evarado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillermo Gaizko having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Chancaní's zone, Felix Evarado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guillermo Gaizko came out of the goal and Felix Evarado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Godfredo Quinteros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cecilio Koldo having to interfere. Cecilio Koldo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Godfredo Quinteros in the 84th minute. Sixto Rafe might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cecilio Koldo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sixto Rafe ran back to his position shaking his head. For all the effort they put into the match, the Chancaní players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for A.A.L.C..
