Guaberto Ler was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Charlotte Hornets's Ceferino Confesor got a free kick in the 19th minute. Victor Ponce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guaberto Ler having to interfere. If Nemesio Constancio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 35 played minutes LMB got a freekick which was hit by Roque Endira. In the 38th minute, Charlotte Hornets's Ceferino Confesor ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Natalio Fidencio. Natalio Fidencio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Cleto Abastas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Victor Ponce to make the kick off. If Ceferino Confesor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 59 minutes of play LMB's Melchor Raphael was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 60th match minute, LMB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melchor Raphael to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Cleto Abastas managed to get in a good position for a shot. LMB's supporters rose to their feet, but Cleto Abastas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guaberto Ler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Natalio Fidencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nemesio Constancio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute, Enzo Marz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by Charlotte Hornets's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Guaberto Illart was slow to take the kick. During this time LMB's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Silvio Emeterio got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Guaberto Ler quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 83 minutes into the game, Tobias Oxarra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Charlotte Hornets's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LMB the free kick. The supporters of LMB booed when Charlotte Hornets was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobias Oxarra didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th match minute, LMB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roque Endira to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute Nemesio Constancio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natalio Fidencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victor Ponce's late challenge caught a Charlotte Hornets's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
