In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Charlotte Hornets's goalkeeper Guaberto Ler, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cecilio Constancio in the 20th minute of play forced Charlotte Hornets's goalkeeper Guaberto Ler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaston Guillem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celedonio Santikurtz in the 21st minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Fútbol Club Animal's Cecilio Constancio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. Guaberto Ler made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Teobaldo Maldonado sent off a good shot on target. If Teobaldo Maldonado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guaberto Ler was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cecilio Constancio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 30 minute of play. Charlotte Hornets's Guaberto Ler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobaldo Maldonado in the 35th minute of play. Teobaldo Maldonado did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 6-0 to the left of a surprised Guaberto Ler 37 minutes into the match. Guaberto Ler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cecilio Constancio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th play minute Teobaldo Maldonado came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Guaberto Ler. 7-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teobaldo Maldonado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Teobaldo Maldonado sped through Charlotte Hornets's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Guaberto Ler. A collision led to Charlotte Hornets getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Nereo Marin hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Charlotte Hornets's zone, Cecilio Constancio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guaberto Ler came out of the goal and Cecilio Constancio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fútbol Club Animal's Cecilio Constancio got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guaberto Ler stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cecilio Constancio's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Guaberto Ler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cecilio Constancio in the 73rd minute of the match. If Santiago Leobardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guaberto Ler stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teobaldo Maldonado's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Celedonio Santikurtz's late challenge caught a Fútbol Club Animal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 12-0 when Cecilio Constancio sped through Charlotte Hornets's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Guaberto Ler. Teobaldo Maldonado hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Charlotte Hornets's Guaberto Ler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elvis Cachero in the 91st minute of play. After some careless play in the Charlotte Hornets defense, Teobaldo Maldonado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guaberto Ler. The Charlotte Hornets fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guaberto Ler should have stopped the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Fútbol Club Animal fully deserved thier win.
