Patricios FC's Severo Vincente proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Patricios FC from getting a goal against them. Iacob Petruț made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santos Vargas in the 21st minute of play. After having played for 28 minutes, Santos Vargas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Patricios FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santos Vargas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Iacob Petruț showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lino Mero, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Severo Vincente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iker Jatsu in the 35th minute of the match. 2-0 became the score in the 38th minute when Iker Jatsu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Darwen Football Club's Iacob Petruț played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santos Vargas in the 44th minute of play. After having played for 46 minutes, Santos Vargas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Patricios FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santos Vargas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Santos Vargas made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Patricios FC booed when Darwen Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Venancio Guerrero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Darwen Football Club's Iker Jatsu got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Braulio Urtats received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Severo Vincente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th match minute, Patricios FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cecilio Primo to maneuver through the defense. Iker Jatsu struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Severo Vincente didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Darwen Football Club. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Darwen Football Club fully deserved thier win.
