Melquiades Nabar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artemio Marquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nereo Ler made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Venancio Laurendi sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, CaPocaNioNieRi F.C.'s Gogo Roldan got a free kick in the 24th minute. When Gogo Roldan fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CaPocaNioNieRi F.C.'s protests and gave Gogo Roldan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 27th minute of the match Damaso Peter sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nereo Ler skillfully saved the ball. In the 28th minute Rodolfo Leobardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Nabar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venancio Laurendi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. CaPocaNioNieRi F.C.'s Andres Miliano got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Poderoso Gael's zone, Rodolfo Leobardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melquiades Nabar came out of the goal and Rodolfo Leobardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Melquiades Nabar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andres Miliano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rodolfo Leobardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Nabar having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mateo Gartzi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Erasmo Jago's late challenge caught a Poderoso Gael's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erasmo Jago helped the player get up and apologised. After 51 played minutes CaPocaNioNieRi F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Erasmo Jago. In the 60th minute Mateo Gartzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nereo Ler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Mateo Gartzi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nereo Ler was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. After having played for 68 minutes, Rodolfo Leobardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CaPocaNioNieRi F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodolfo Leobardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Venancio Laurendi in the 70th minute of play forced CaPocaNioNieRi F.C.'s goalkeeper Nereo Ler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Poderoso Gael's goalkeeper Melquiades Nabar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodolfo Leobardo. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodolfo Leobardo got free with Melquiades Nabar in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gogo Roldan was shown his second yellow card after 77 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 78th match minute, CaPocaNioNieRi F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gogo Roldan to maneuver through the defense. CaPocaNioNieRi F.C.'s Nereo Ler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Venancio Laurendi in the 82nd minute of play. Rodolfo Leobardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes into the game, Damaso Peter was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Poderoso Gael's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CaPocaNioNieRi F.C. the free kick. After 85 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Poderoso Gael! When the match had been going on for 87 minutes, CaPocaNioNieRi F.C.'s Artemio Marquez got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Melquiades Nabar. After a defensive mix-up in Poderoso Gael's zone, Rodolfo Leobardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melquiades Nabar came out of the goal and Rodolfo Leobardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Despite being the better team, CaPocaNioNieRi F.C. failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
