Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Constantino Baladi kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquilino Tallia in the 14th minute of play forced La Gloria Canalla's goalkeeper Ciriaco Frederico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carolo Duardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Sixto Cai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th match minute, La Gloria Canalla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enzo Eli to maneuver through the defense. Desiderio Modestio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciriaco Frederico having to interfere. Ciriaco Frederico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Desiderio Modestio in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Desiderio Modestio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gimnasia y Esgrima LP fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 33rd minute of the match, Carolo Duardo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Sixto Cai was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Constantino Baladi in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sixto Cai prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Constantino Baladi charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Constantino Baladi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to La Gloria Canalla getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Constantino Baladi hit a great ball. Desiderio Modestio struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Ciriaco Frederico didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gimnasia y Esgrima LP. If Desiderio Modestio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Desiderio Modestio was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute Gimnasia y Esgrima LP were awarded a corner. Gonzalo Isauro went to the cornerflag to take it. Ricardo Dalmai tried in the 54th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Ciriaco Frederico a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 2-2. 61 minutes into the match, Gimnasia y Esgrima LP's goal looked a bit too open when Constantino Baladi came free, but Sixto Cai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aquilino Tallia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Ciriaco Frederico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aquilino Tallia got free with Ciriaco Frederico in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 69th minute, one of Gimnasia y Esgrima LP:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gimnasia y Esgrima LP. Through an outstanding action, after 74 minutes, Ciriaco Frederico successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Carolo Duardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Sixto Cai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carolo Duardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sixto Cai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantino Baladi in the 79th minute of the match. Sixto Cai came out of the goal and Carolo Duardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 90 minutes, Teodosio Matro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Gloria Canalla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teodosio Matro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sixto Cai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantino Baladi in the 93rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in La Gloria Canalla's zone, Aquilino Tallia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciriaco Frederico came out of the goal and Aquilino Tallia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. La Gloria Canalla had won after a very even match.
