Tomas Iraunkor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Ildefonso Abechuco made a huge save. In the 6th minute, Primitivo Min hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Horacio Elixio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 7th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eloy Saturnin. Cosenza Calcio 1914's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erubiel Gergori in the 9th minute of play forced Romero FC's goalkeeper Ildefonso Abechuco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Romero FC's Ildefonso Abechuco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Primitivo Min in the 10th minute of play. Ildefonso Abechuco made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Tomas Iraunkor sent off a good shot on target. In the 15th minute of the match, Erubiel Gergori tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ildefonso Abechuco saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 15th match minute, Romero FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benicio Macerio to maneuver through the defense. Ildefonso Abechuco was a little too slow when Erubiel Gergori got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 1-0. Erubiel Gergori's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ildefonso Abechuco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Romero FC's goalkeeper Ildefonso Abechuco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Iraunkor. When Benicio Macerio came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Romero FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benicio Macerio couldn't finish the play. Haroldo Demario's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eloy Saturnin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. During the 45th minute of the match Primitivo Min completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Primitivo Min a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 45 played minutes Cosenza Calcio 1914 got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Min. Romero FC's Ildefonso Abechuco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Romero FC from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Haroldo Demario was the one to do the kick off. Haroldo Demario hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Iraunkor in the 62nd minute of play forced Romero FC's goalkeeper Ildefonso Abechuco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erubiel Gergori charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erubiel Gergori the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Cosenza Calcio 1914 getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Erubiel Gergori hit a great ball. 68 minutes into the match, Romero FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Iraunkor came free, but Ildefonso Abechuco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 70 played minutes Cosenza Calcio 1914 got a freekick which was hit by Mario Mercurio. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Benicio Macerio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Romero FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Benicio Macerio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eloy Saturnin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 75 minutes, Haroldo Demario managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Romero FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Haroldo Demario was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 78 minutes into the match, Cosenza Calcio 1914's goalkeeper Eloy Saturnin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Haroldo Demario. Ildefonso Abechuco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Iraunkor, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After 84 minutes of play, Cosenza Calcio 1914's Tomas Iraunkor made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ildefonso Abechuco was left in no man's land by his defense there! Haroldo Demario came free in the 88th minute and tried to tip the ball over Eloy Saturnin, but to the joy of Cosenza Calcio 1914's supporters the ball went over. After a defensive mix-up in Cosenza Calcio 1914's zone, Haroldo Demario stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eloy Saturnin came out of the goal and Haroldo Demario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benicio Macerio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Eloy Saturnin made a huge save. Ildefonso Abechuco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Iraunkor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
