After 21 minutes of play, Lincoln City's Ziemowit Trynda made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Basilio Alonso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cesar Quilo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquiles Cibran having to interfere. The supporters of Otto Bemberg booed when Lincoln City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornelio Ireno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aquiles Cibran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ovidio Dolcet in the 43rd minute of the match. Basilio Alonso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ziemowit Trynda in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 97th minute, Cornelio Ireno sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Otto Bemberg's Basilio Alonso didn't even have to move. Lincoln City's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
