Spectators: 7443 (Terracing: 5583, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 148) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Atilano Boni kicked off to start the match. Osvaldo Mundo kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Fermin Joseph made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artemio Otoniel in the 6th minute of play. In the 10th minute, one of Carmen:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Carmen. In the 12th minute there was a penalty for Fiambrín y Cantimpalo. Gogo Xabier stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Fermin Joseph. 0-1. After some careless play in the Fiambrín y Cantimpalo defense, Atilano Boni kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alberto Gumaro. The Fiambrín y Cantimpalo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alberto Gumaro should have stopped the shot. Atilano Boni blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alberto Gumaro having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Albino Indalecio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carmen's supporters rose to their feet, but Albino Indalecio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alberto Gumaro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 28 minutes into the game, Raimundo Elazar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fiambrín y Cantimpalo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carmen the free kick. Albino Indalecio was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 30th minute. Carmen's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 31st minute Atilano Boni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Gumaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aquilino Galtero kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Albino Ascencio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carmen's supporters rose to their feet, but Albino Ascencio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alberto Gumaro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 37th minute, Aquilino Galtero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 38 minutes into the match, Carmen's Albino Ascencio broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 39 minutes into the match, Fiambrín y Cantimpalo's goal looked a bit too open when Atilano Boni came free, but Alberto Gumaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Carmen's goal looked a bit too open when Artemio Otoniel came free, but Fermin Joseph reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Fiambrín y Cantimpalo's Cristian Eleazar got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristian Eleazar to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Bernardo Rami cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Alberto Gumaro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Artemio Otoniel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albino Indalecio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alberto Gumaro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Alberto Gumaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atilano Boni in the 57th minute of play. Atilano Boni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Alberto Gumaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raimundo Elazar hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Fiambrín y Cantimpalo's Artemio Otoniel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fermin Joseph. That made the score 3-3 after 73 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Artemio Otoniel got free with Fermin Joseph in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 81 minutes into the match, Bernardo Rami notched a goal, 4-3, to the right of Fiambrín y Cantimpalo's Alberto Gumaro. Alberto Gumaro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Adolfo Amato's late challenge caught a Fiambrín y Cantimpalo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adolfo Amato helped the player get up and apologised. Fiambrín y Cantimpalo's Artemio Otoniel got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Artemio Otoniel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Fermin Joseph managed to avoid a goal in the 95thth minute, when Fiambrín y Cantimpalo's Artemio Otoniel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Fiambrín y Cantimpalo's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
