Conrado Ilixo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeledon Guillelme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th match minute, EL FRANCIS ... was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Ospin to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in EL FRANCIS ...'s zone, Jonas Pepillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Conrado Ilixo came out of the goal and Jonas Pepillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zeledon Guillelme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute Zeledon Guillelme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conrado Ilixo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute, Zeledon Guillelme ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Conrado Ilixo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 0-4 became the score in the 32nd minute when Zeledon Guillelme elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in EL FRANCIS ...'s zone, Augusto Platon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Conrado Ilixo came out of the goal and Augusto Platon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Augusto Platon struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Conrado Ilixo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Somisa FC. After 41 played minutes EL FRANCIS ... got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Abaurre. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zeledon Guillelme in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Conrado Ilixo saved EL FRANCIS ... from getting behind. The supporters of Somisa FC booed when EL FRANCIS ... was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Ospin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Conrado Ilixo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeledon Guillelme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 47 minutes of play, Somisa FC's Jonas Pepillo made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Conrado Ilixo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anselmo Veremundo made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anselmo Veremundo in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elliott Stenberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tomás Abaurre hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Conrado Ilixo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind EL FRANCIS ...'s goalkeeper Conrado Ilixo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 73rd minute, Zeledon Guillelme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Freddy Sadurni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Ilixo having to interfere. Inocencio Mikelar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Conrado Ilixo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zeledon Guillelme's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Freddy Sadurni managed to get in a good position for a shot. Somisa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Freddy Sadurni was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Conrado Ilixo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 85th minute, Baldomiro Bikendi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute, Anselmo Veremundo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 88 minutes into the match, EL FRANCIS ...'s goalkeeper Conrado Ilixo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zeledon Guillelme. If Freddy Sadurni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, EL FRANCIS ...'s Abelardo Aragones got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Conrado Ilixo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zeledon Guillelme's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. When the final whistle sounded Somisa FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than EL FRANCIS ....
