After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
After some careless play in the Capillitas defense, Hüseyin Rahmi Tanpınar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aurelio Fernado. The Capillitas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aurelio Fernado should have stopped the shot. After having played for 54 minutes, Liu Yuan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Athletic Bostero's supporters crossed their fingers, but Liu Yuan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Athletic Bostero's Cecilio Martinez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Mikelar in the 57th minute of play. After 58 played minutes Athletic Bostero got a freekick which was hit by Ariel Lihach. 62 minutes into the match, Capillitas's goal looked a bit too open when Ariel Lihach came free, but Aurelio Fernado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After taking down the ball on Athletic Bostero's corner Ariel Lihach fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Aurelio Fernado quite easily take care of the ball. In the 84th minute, Liu Yuan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Athletic Bostero fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. In the 89th minute of the match Ariel Lihach sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aurelio Fernado skillfully saved the ball.
