With an all-out effort, Club Pucará's Alessandro López threw himself towards the right post 14 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nicolas Patiño, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Rickard Ahlkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Club Pucará's Dragutin Milićević sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alessandro López narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Iker Ekhi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Chumo having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Dragutin Milićević ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alessandro López was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Alessandro López took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dragutin Milićević, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Club Pucará booed when Avellaneda FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godfredo Obano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alessandro López had in the 80thth minute some difficulties stopping Dragutin Milićević's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Club Pucará's Raul Chumo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godfredo Obano in the 82nd minute of play. Alessandro López showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dragutin Milićević, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Avellaneda FC's Alessandro López played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulino Eufrasio in the 96th minute of play.
