Spectators: 8038 (Terracing: 6029, Seating: 1849, VIP seats: 160) Timoteo Columbo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Godfredo Abarca having to make a save. Godfredo Abarca came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Academia 1903's Timoteo Columbo. But to his dismay, Timoteo Columbo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Hélio Mangueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Jönsson in the 10th minute of play. In the 13th minute Timoteo Columbo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godfredo Abarca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Timoteo Columbo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Godfredo Abarca read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. After 18 minutes BEIJO CARNAVAL's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Harald Ek who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Lucien de Neutere almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but BEIJO CARNAVAL's Godfredo Abarca did a great save. In the 20th minute, Timoteo Columbo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Godfredo Abarca was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Godfredo Abarca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timoteo Columbo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th match minute, BEIJO CARNAVAL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romulo Arias to maneuver through the defense. Hélio Mangueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Jönsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. The supporters of Academia 1903 booed when BEIJO CARNAVAL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerardo Abilio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Timoteo Columbo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godfredo Abarca having to interfere. Godfredo Abarca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timoteo Columbo, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Rigoberto Olayo could shoot a difficult shot in the 36th minute, which Hélio Mangueira however easily saved by the left post. In the 37th minute, Gerardo Abilio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Timoteo Columbo came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Academia 1903 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Timoteo Columbo couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alonzo Lazcano to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Timoteo Columbo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Godfredo Abarca, 0-3. 56 minutes into the match, Academia 1903's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Jönsson came free, but Hélio Mangueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alonzo Lazcano in the 61st minute of play forced Academia 1903's goalkeeper Hélio Mangueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute Jeremias Ezkerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godfredo Abarca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 66 minutes BEIJO CARNAVAL's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Harald Ek who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Academia 1903's corner Harald Ek fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Godfredo Abarca quite easily take care of the ball. BEIJO CARNAVAL made a substitution. Ernesto Dei replaced Rigoberto Olayo. Academia 1903's Gérard Magyar was substituted for Harald Ek. Gerardo Abilio made in the 71st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Ernesto Dei. 74 minutes into the match, BEIJO CARNAVAL's goal looked a bit too open when Nicanor Morenø came free, but Godfredo Abarca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Godfredo Abarca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicanor Morenø in the 76th minute of the match. A collision led to BEIJO CARNAVAL getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Gerardo Abilio hit a great ball. Ernesto Dei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marco Rincón kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, BEIJO CARNAVAL's Gerardo Abilio got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Academia 1903 eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
