Spectators: 6663 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fábio Ferreira took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Fábio Ferreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 7 minutes into the match, Ferreiras FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adolfo Domingos came free, but Jacinto Macedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 11 played minutes Ferreiras FC got a freekick which was hit by André Queirós. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind F.C. Porto's goalkeeper Laurentino Eanes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Ferreiras FC's Rafael Freitas got a free kick in the 18th minute. Ferreiras FC's Jacinto Fonseca got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Palmiro Peseiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Macedo having to interfere. When Adelino Cardoso fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ferreiras FC's protests and gave Adelino Cardoso a yellow card for diving instead. Adolfo Domingos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Jacinto Macedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bruno Lage, 31 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a rather tough play, Ferreiras FC's Rafael Freitas got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Laurentino Eanes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fábio Ferreira's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Laurentino Eanes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fábio Ferreira in the 36th minute of play. In the 45th minute, Adolfo Domingos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacinto Macedo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adolfo Domingos to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Palmiro Peseiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Laurentino Eanes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Jacinto Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Laurentino Eanes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Palmiro Peseiro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of Jacinto Macedo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. F.C. Porto's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
