Spectators: 7341 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1741, VIP seats: 100) Fleet's Piers Beasley started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Fleet's Gordon Barfield got a free kick in the 11th minute. Piers Beasley could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Kieran Christie made a huge save. Alfred Blakeley kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the game, Ed Winstanley was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Intersports fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fleet the free kick. In the 20th minute, Ed Winstanley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Intersports fc's goalkeeper Kieran Christie, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Piers Beasley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Kieran Christie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Philip Zamora during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Philip Zamora hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. A hard shot 31 in the game by Piers Beasley from a close distance when the talented Kieran Christie managed to make a qualified save. Intersports fc's players were relieved. When Ed Winstanley was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 31 minutes had been played. Ed Winstanley hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After 36 played minutes Fleet got a freekick which was hit by Jasper Mawson. Alfred Blakeley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arkadiusz Jarmulowicz having to interfere. Piers Beasleys short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Kieran Christie to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alfred Blakeley was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Intersports fc's zone, CJ Page stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kieran Christie came out of the goal and CJ Page tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ashley Percival kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. With his leg Arkadiusz Jarmulowicz managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Intersports fc's Alfred Blakeley fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience was convinced that Piers Beasley's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kieran Christie was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Fleet's CJ Page got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Alfred Blakeley managed to get in a good position for a shot. Intersports fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfred Blakeley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arkadiusz Jarmulowicz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Intersports fc's zone, CJ Page stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kieran Christie came out of the goal and CJ Page tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Piers Beasley put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Kieran Christie. After a rather tough play, Intersports fc's Philip Zamora got a free kick in the 69th minute. When Fleet's Piers Beasley in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Intersports fc's goalie prevented a goal. After 73 played minutes Intersports fc got a freekick which was hit by Mark Haseldine. Connor Gates recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Piers Beasley in the 81st minute of play forced Intersports fc's goalkeeper Kieran Christie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Intersports fc defense, Piers Beasley kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kieran Christie. The Intersports fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kieran Christie should have stopped the shot. If CJ Page had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute, Alfred Blakeley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute, Piers Beasley left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fleet fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Fleet fully deserved thier win.
