The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dale Armitage showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Robbie Seaward sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeff Goodwin struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Dale Armitage didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Crowborough. Boscombe's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Abraham Cardwell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Dale Armitage tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Crowborough's Robbie Seaward in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Boscombe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Robbie Seaward was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Robbie Seaward fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dale Armitage having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Donny Lockwood was the one to do the kick off. Abraham Cardwell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robbie Seaward received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dale Armitage came out and tried to block the shot, but Robbie Seaward slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 55th minute. Darryl Crooks kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Dale Armitage stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robbie Seaward's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. After 65 played minutes Boscombe got a freekick which was hit by Zak Harrington. Crowborough's Orson Swanson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Elding in the 68th minute of play. Dale Armitage made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Abraham Cardwell sent off a good shot on target. When Crowborough's Robbie Seaward in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 80th minute Robbie Seaward shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dale Armitage saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robbie Seaward in the 83rd minute of play forced Boscombe's goalkeeper Dale Armitage to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dale Armitage made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robbie Seaward in the 84th minute of play. Abraham Cardwell struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. When Zak Harrington fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boscombe's protests and gave Zak Harrington a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Boscombe getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Zak Harrington hit a great ball. Crowborough's attack was well implemented in the 95th minute, but when Robbie Seaward was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. The Boscombe fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Crowborough were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
