It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jo Ford kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the game, Jo Ford cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Scott Noble was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Perivale FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Josh Newlyn hit a great ball. 7 minutes into the match, Egham United's Nicky Budden broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Neil Anson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alistair Peat having to interfere. Warren Pyrah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 16 minutes into the match, Egham United's Neil Anson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alistair Peat narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 18thth minute of the game Warren Pyrah who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Perivale FC's Alistair Peat was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Perivale FC's goalkeeper Alistair Peat had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Neil Anson. Warren Pyrah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Alistair Peat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jo Ford fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Scott Noble having to interfere. Scott Noble made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jo Ford in the 29th minute of play. In the 33rd minute Jo Ford shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Scott Noble saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Perivale FC's goal looked a bit too open when Warren Pyrah came free, but Alistair Peat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Warren Pyrah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alistair Peat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Warren Pyrah in the 43rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Perivale FC's zone, Warren Pyrah stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alistair Peat came out of the goal and Warren Pyrah tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Warren Pyrah made the kick off in the second half. After 57 minutes of play, Egham United's Warren Pyrah made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alistair Peat was left in no man's land by his defense there! Scott Noble made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jimmy Ramsden in the 65th minute. After 67 played minutes Perivale FC got a freekick which was hit by Rupert Beesley. After recieving a nice pass, Egham United's Nicky Budden tried to score from far away in the 68th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 74 minutes into the match, Perivale FC's goal looked a bit too open when Warren Pyrah came free, but Alistair Peat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Neil Anson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alistair Peat having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Edward Swallow hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jo Ford fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Scott Noble having to interfere. Alistair Peat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Warren Pyrah in the 85th minute of the match. Perivale FC's Alistair Peat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neil Anson in the 86th minute of play. Alistair Peat came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Egham United's Neil Anson. But to his dismay, Neil Anson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. In a very dangerous position, a player in Egham United fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 94th minute. Penalty! Egham United walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
