Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Marmarisspor's Garth Monk started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Charles Hurst was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Garth Monk showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. When Husbands's Mathias Terpstra in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Marmarisspor's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Mathias Terpstra put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Quentin Renner. In the 13th minute Damian Meadowcroft shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quentin Renner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, Damian Meadowcroft left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Husbands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Charles Hurst came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Marmarisspor's Peter Humphreys. But to his dismay, Peter Humphreys quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 26th minute, Marmarisspor's Garth Monk ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Charles Hurst. Charles Hurst yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. In the 29th minute Garth Monk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles Hurst saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Mathias Terpstra left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Husbands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. In the 36th match minute, Marmarisspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joey Rockett to maneuver through the defense. Mathias Terpstra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Erubiel Ignazio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Sean Horn fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marmarisspor's protests and gave Sean Horn a yellow card for diving instead. Sean Horn hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Damian Meadowcroft managed to get in a good position for a shot. Husbands's supporters rose to their feet, but Damian Meadowcroft was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Quentin Renner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Damian Meadowcroft made a kick off. If Damian Meadowcroft had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sean Horn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Peter Humphreys in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Charles Hurst prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 62 minutes, Damian Meadowcroft managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Husbands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damian Meadowcroft was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 68 minutes into the match, Marmarisspor's Sean Horn sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Charles Hurst narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 70 minutes, Peter Humphreys mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marmarisspor and the Husbands players grew even worse after the yellow card. Quentin Renner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathias Terpstra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ruben Folans short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got Quentin Renner to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Garth Monk in the 80th minute of play forced Husbands's goalkeeper Charles Hurst to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joey Rockett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles Hurst having to interfere. Mathias Terpstra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Husbands's Damian Meadowcroft got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marmarisspor's Quentin Renner proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Marmarisspor from getting a goal against them. Husbands's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
