If Wiktor Wennersten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 12th minute, but Dag Mellin got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Överturingen FF hanging dry this time. Dag Mellin stood somewhat misplaced when William Norström came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 13 minute. Hökerum's Gustaf Åberg challenged an opponent after 16 minutes. The hit was so bad that he suffered a foot injury. When Gustav Melin fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Överturingen FF's protests and gave Gustav Melin a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Överturingen FF getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Gustav Melin hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inge Göransson in the 20th minute of play forced Hökerum's goalkeeper Dennis Mårtensson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dag Mellin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wiktor Wennersten in the 23rd minute of play. Wiktor Wennersten received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dag Mellin came out and tried to block the shot, but Wiktor Wennersten slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 25th minute. Dag Mellin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wiktor Wennersten, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. William Norström who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Dag Mellin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 37th match minute, Överturingen FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sixten Stenquist to maneuver through the defense. Dag Mellin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tommy Ryberg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 41 minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gustav Melin was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, William Norström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Dag Mellin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 58thth minute of the game William Norström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Överturingen FF's Dag Mellin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dennis Mårtensson made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Aleksander Nordmark sent off a good shot on target. Dag Mellin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wiktor Wennersten in the 66th minute of play. In the 67th minute, William Norström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dag Mellin was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. William Norström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Dag Mellin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wiktor Wennersten struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Dag Mellin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hökerum. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustav Melin in the 77th minute of play forced Hökerum's goalkeeper Dennis Mårtensson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filiph Pihlberg in the 81st minute of play forced Överturingen FF's goalkeeper Dag Mellin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 85 minutes, William Norström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hökerum's supporters crossed their fingers, but William Norström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 7-0 became the score in the 87th minute when Wiktor Wennersten elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Hökerum walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
