In the 4thth minute of the game Rasmus Igelström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hamburger SV's Robert Karlstedt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rasmus Igelström took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Robert Karlstedt. Robert Karlstedt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 14th minute, Mighty Midgets United's Rasmus Igelström dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Thanks to some nice moves Joel Lägdin could shoot a difficult shot in the 20th minute, which Robert Karlstedt however easily saved by the left post. Bo Strömberg took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Patrik Malmgren. Patrik Malmgren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 25th minute Rasmus Igelström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Karlstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th match minute, Hamburger SV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nils-Emil Berg to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Mighty Midgets United getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Frank Bergman hit a great ball. Hamburger SV's Robert Karlstedt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Hamburger SV from getting a goal against them. Robert Karlstedt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joel Lägdin in the 34th minute. Robert Karlstedt was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Andréas Ekblom showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-1 in the 35 minute of play. Bo Strömberg kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Hamburger SV's goalkeeper Robert Karlstedt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonard Lagerberg. Robert Karlstedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rasmus Igelström in the 67th minute of play. 68 minutes into the game, Bo Strömberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hamburger SV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mighty Midgets United the free kick. Bo Strömberg kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. If Andréas Ekblom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Hamburger SV booed when Mighty Midgets United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonard Lagerberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robert Karlstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andréas Ekblom in the 75th minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Hamburger SV's Bo Strömberg ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Patrik Malmgren. Robert Karlstedt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Andréas Ekblom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. After 94 played minutes Mighty Midgets United got a freekick which was hit by Leonard Lagerberg. The excitement rose when Mighty Midgets United's Leonard Lagerberg after 97 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Hamburger SV's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 7-2. When the referee ended the match the Mighty Midgets United players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
