That made the score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. Lennart Kuse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrik Håkansson in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute Valdemar Pilgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lennart Kuse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lennart Kuse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils Lidberg in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tom Karlberg in the 15th minute of play forced IF Kickers's goalkeeper Lennart Kuse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 20 played minutes Tom Karlberg could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 3-0 into the left cross. Lennart Kuse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdemar Pilgren in the 26th minute of play. Lennart Kuse made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henrik Håkansson in the 27th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Gästrike-hammarby BK's goal looked a bit too open when Albino Eufrasio came free, but Stefan Käller reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joel Collin hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute, Tom Karlberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gästrike-hammarby BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leif Fågel during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 40 played minutes IF Kickers got a freekick which was hit by Leif Fågel. A collision led to IF Kickers getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Joel Collin hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute, Henrik Håkansson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 44th minute Valdemar Pilgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lennart Kuse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Sven-Ove Jonsson in the 47th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Gästrike-hammarby BK's Henrik Håkansson. In the 48th minute Tom Karlberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lennart Kuse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

In the 54th minute, Albino Eufrasio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 56 minutes into the match, IF Kickers's goal looked a bit too open when Valdemar Pilgren came free, but Lennart Kuse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute, Albino Eufrasio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Stefan Käller. The goal made the score 5-1. Joel Collin kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After some careless play in the IF Kickers defense, Henrik Håkansson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lennart Kuse. The IF Kickers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lennart Kuse should have stopped the shot. Lennart Kuse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdemar Pilgren in the 70th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tom Karlberg in the 72nd minute of play forced IF Kickers's goalkeeper Lennart Kuse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lennart Kuse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdemar Pilgren in the 73rd minute of play. In the 78th minute, Tom Karlberg made a precise shot to the right of Lennart Kuse. IF Kickers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-2. Lennart Kuse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hannes Sjöberg in the 81st minute of play. In the 84th minute, Daryl Lambley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tom Karlberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to IF Kickers getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Dennis Apelkvist hit a great ball. Valdemar Pilgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lennart Kuse having to interfere. Albino Eufrasio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Stefan Käller tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gästrike-hammarby BK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
