Ösmo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elliott Bredberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Christer Lundqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Golden Eagle's Helge Wikander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Golden Eagle from getting a goal against them. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bo Nyström couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The audience was convinced that Tobias Fågel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Helge Wikander was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tobias Fågel during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Golden Eagle booed when Ösmo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Helge Wikander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bo Nyström in the 76th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Ösmo's Kristian Kjellberg seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Kristian Kjellberg the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ösmo protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Kristian Kjellberg had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Tord Påk walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. 82 minutes into the game, Börge Grönlund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Helge Wikander was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 85 minutes into the match, Bo Nyström notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Golden Eagle's Helge Wikander. Helge Wikander was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Leonard Anselius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elliott Bredberg in the 89th minute of play. In the 90th minute of the match Felix Uggla sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Helge Wikander skillfully saved the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ösmo had played much better football throughout.
