After 16 played minutes Stjärnsund RK got a freekick which was hit by Albin Rydberg. If Sivert Hellkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Uno Vestberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimmie Harlén having to interfere. Jimmie Harlén showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filiph Axelsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Sivert Hellkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Knut Fribäck having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Malmköping IK's goal looked a bit too open when Filiph Axelsson came free, but Jimmie Harlén reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Malmköping IK's zone, Filiph Axelsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jimmie Harlén came out of the goal and Filiph Axelsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Filiph Axelsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jimmie Harlén showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filiph Axelsson in the 46th minute of the match. When Sivert Hellkvist came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Malmköping IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sivert Hellkvist couldn't finish the play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Filiph Axelsson to make the kick off. Jimmie Harlén took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filiph Axelsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Malmköping IK's Jimmie Harlén got control of the ball when Uno Vestberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Malmköping IK's Jens-Åke Rudqvist couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 90th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Stjärnsund RK. Sivert Hellkvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Knut Fribäck having to make a save. When Magnus Sundberg fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stjärnsund RK's protests and gave Magnus Sundberg a yellow card for diving instead. In the 95th match minute, Stjärnsund RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magnus Sundberg to maneuver through the defense. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
